About the Campaign

Background

LifeGuru’s Mandir Puja is a devotional-commerce offering that lets devotees book authentic temple pujas online, performed on their behalf at revered temples across India. It serves a high-intent audience — devotees seeking specific deity pujas and dosh-nivaran rituals, often tied to festivals and auspicious dates.

Demand for the product was strong, but growth on Meta was being held back by problems that a top-line view of the account simply could not see. LifeGuru partnered with Digidarts to scale its top-of-funnel and mid-funnel (TOF + MOF) acquisition engine — profitably growing new-customer volume while improving return on ad spend.

Objective

To build a scalable, profitable prospecting engine on Meta by:

  • Growing return on ad spend (ROAS) across the combined top- and mid-funnel
  • Reducing the cost of acquiring each new devotee
  • Scaling new-customer acquisition without sacrificing efficiency
  • Using granular, puja-wise and creative-wise reporting to pinpoint and fix the metrics limiting growth
  • Building a repeatable, test-and-scale creative framework at puja and funnel level

Our Approach

Our first move was not to change the media plan — it was to see it clearly. We built detailed reporting that broke performance down to the individual puja and the individual creative, instead of reading the account as one blended number.

This granular view immediately exposed where spend was being wasted and, most importantly, surfaced the specific metrics that were quietly holding growth back — weak points that a top-line dashboard had been masking.

With the growth-blocking metrics now visible at puja and creative level, we worked through them systematically. Each puja was diagnosed on its own merits, and we prioritised the levers that would move performance the most — tightening the metrics that were dragging efficiency down and reinforcing the ones already working.

This turned reporting from a scorecard into a concrete action list, and improving those metrics is what began to move ROAS.

Creative was approached with the same discipline. Rather than a one-size-fits-all rollout, we ran a structured testing framework — puja by puja and funnel stage by funnel stage — so that every puja could find the angle, format, and message that genuinely resonated with its specific audience.

The moment a creative proved itself a winner, we scaled it decisively, concentrating budget behind proven performers to compound returns.

Underpinning all of this, we kept the prospecting engine clean and well-organised so the algorithm always had strong signal to learn from. At the top of funnel we used broad, Advantage+ style prospecting to let Meta discover new devotees efficiently;

At mid funnel we deployed video-engagement & custom audiences to recapture high-intent devotees who had watched or interacted with the brand but had not yet booked a puja. A tidy structure kept budget focused on exactly what the reporting proved was working.

Bottom Line

This was not simply a media-buying exercise. The turnaround was built on visibility and discipline: granular, puja-wise and creative-wise reporting that exposed the metrics silently blocking growth, a systematic effort to fix those metrics, and a puja- and funnel-level creative-testing strategy that found winners and scaled them fast — all running on a clean, well-organised prospecting engine.

By diagnosing the account at the level of the individual puja and creative, and acting on exactly what the data revealed, Digidarts helped LifeGuru grow Mandir Puja ROAS by 33% and cut cost per purchase by 29% in just 60 days, while building a scalable foundation for long-term, profitable growth.
